Recognize Windows Server 2025 in wxGetOsDescription()
and update Windows OS table in wxGetOsVersion() docs.

Fix the flag name in wxSizerFlags::Shaped() description.
Add a reference to Windows Sizing Overview to Window Layout page and
Sizers Overview.
Add a reference to Sizers Overview to Window Sizing Overview.
Closes#25044.

Update Windows Server information.
Additionally, add a note to wxGetOsDescription() source to
keep the table in docs in the sync with the code.

Document all available styles, i.e., just like with wxSpinCtrl, list
also wxTE_PROCESS_ENTER and the three text alignment options.
See #24488.

Use the same argument name as in the actual code in the class
constructor as well as the convenience function, instead of
wrongly copypasted "book".

Document previously undocumented macOS methods
enabling/disabling automatic character substitutions.
This should have been part of 90e1769 (Add API to control
OS X wxTextCtrl’s smart behavior, 2016-10-16).

The gestures frame created its own log target and deleted
the previous one but did not restore it when being closed.
This left the current log target invalid which led to a crash
when calling any wxLog*() function after gestures frame was closed.
Fix this by restoring the previous log target when gestures frame
is closed.

The code example in wxColourDialog documentation used
a wrong type to create wxColourDialog instance.
See #23793, #23794.

The note in the method description incorrectly stated that
"...the handlers are deleted in wxFileSystem's destructor so
that you don't have to care about it." However, unless a
handler is removed by calling wxFileSystem::RemoveHandler()
(or undocumented wxFileSystem::CleanUpHandlers()), it is deleted
only when wxWidgets shuts down in wxFileSystemModule::OnExit().
Update the method documentation that it is correct (and similar to
that of wxImage::AddHandler()).

of unit tests documentation.

XPM files demonstrating the use of wxBitmapBundle in the XRC files

Add macros for a still supported legacy way of handling events
(event tables and Connect()) for wxEVT_WEBVIEW_FULLSCREEN_CHANGED,

The vendor string was ignored for the stable wxWidgets versions (e.g.,
3.2). However, vendor should be always used when available, regardless
of wxWidgets version. The only case when vendor should not be used is
when creating official builds (currently not done with CMake).

Add an SVG and a wxBitmapBundleImpl to the list of methods that can be
used when creating a wxBitmapBundle.
Remove a generic sentence promising adding other methods of creating
bundles in the future.

Don't use operator<<() with a wide char string, as this overload has
been removed in C++20. This can be done simply by not using wide char
string at all in this test, as it's not really needed.

If a wxEvent-derived class documentation lacks "events" category,
the class will not appear in the Events class list.
The "events" category is still missing in several event classes
(e.g., palette events or wxRibbonToolBarEvent), but those lack
actual documentation aside from just methods declarations anyway.
Change "order" to "reverse order" in "... dynamically bound handlers
are searched in order of their registration ...".
Use better check for C++11 in a code example.
Unify whitespace usage in code examples.
Add information about the recommended way of using wxFrame
as a form, i.e., to not create the input controls as its
direct children but use wxPanel for this instead.
Closes#22395.
Instead of defining a manifest for each individual CPU architecture, use
a single manifest with an asterisk for the architecture.

manifests, 2021-12-17).
Closes#22376.
Allow creating wxBitmapBitmap from SVG image stored in an application
resource on the platforms where wxHAS_IMAGE_RESOURCES is defined.
On Windows, load the bundle from a resource with RT_RCDATA type and on
MacOS from a file with an extension "svg" placed in the "Resources"
subdirectory of the application bundle.
Closes#22061.
Create wxD2D1Factory with D2D1_DEBUG_LEVEL_WARNING only when debug
features, such as asserts, are enabled at wx level.
This is not the exact equivalent of the "Debug" build commonly used
under MSW with MSVC, but seems to be the closest equivalent, see the
discussion in #22034.
Closes#22039.
In webview sample toolbar use wxBitmapBundles created from SVG files
instead of XPM bitmaps, as this results in much better appearance in
high DPI.
Closes#2642.
Using a const char* and a wxString in the two branches of the ternary
operator resulted in compile-time errors since the result type of the
conditional expression was ambiguous, so add explicit conversions to fix
it.

See #19355.
When a COM interface is held by wxCOMPtr, one should not call
Interface->Release(), as it decreases the interface's reference
count without wxCOMPtr owning the interface being aware of that.
When then wxCOMPtr calls Interface->Release() in its destructor
the reference count is erroneously decreased again, which is bound
to result in bad things happening.
If one needs to release an interface held by wxCOMPtr immediately,
wxCOMPtr::reset() should be used instead.
These Release() calls should have been removed in 938506b1f7 (Use
wxCOMPtr throughout the wxWebViewIE Find code., 2013-05-18), which
introduced the use of wxCOMPtr, but were forgotten there.
Closes https://github.com/wxWidgets/wxWidgets/pull/2626Closes#15207.
This undoes the part of 77d8926126 (Simplify Windows application
manifests, 2021-12-17) which removed special handling of MSVC from
wx.rc, as it's still needed.
In section "dependency" use "*" in processorArchitecture instead of specifying
the concrete architecture such as "amd64" or "x86". This allows to have just one
manifest for all architectures instead of having them for all supported architectures
individually differing in just processorArchitecture.
It was impossible to give focus to the actual web view in wxWebViewEdge
by keyboard navigation or programmatically with wxWebViewEdge::SetFocus().
Fix it by calling CoreWebView2Controller::MoveFocus() in the wxWebViewEdge's
wxEVT_SET_FOCUS handler.

All BCC makefiles were removed as a part of "Remove support for Borland
C++ compiler" PR; however, a few of them sneaked back as a part of the
newly introduced wxWebRequest.
Remove them for good.
When setting a path including an invalid drive in IFileDialog-based
wxDirDialog, Windows returned ERROR_INVALID_DRIVE error. wxWidgets
treated this as an error and reverted to showing the old
ShowSHBrowseForFolder()-based dialog.
However, it is better to just ignore any errors produced when attempting
to set the default folder (as the code already did for ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND)
and show IFileDialog-based dialog anyway.

Headers wx/filehistory.h and wx/filename.h were included only
when WX_PRECOMP was not defined.
However, these two files are not included in wx/wxprec.h,
so they must be always included directly.

In the docs, replace mentions of wxEvtHandler::Connect() with
wxEvtHandler::Bind(), mostly to match the actual code but also
because Bind() is the recommended way to dynamically bind events.

AppVeyor CI builds for Microsoft Windows only. Therefore, do not start builds
for changes made only in dfb, gtk, gtk1, motif, unix, and x11 folders.
Additionally, do not start the builds when only an *.md file in the root
folder changes.
Lastly, ignore all changes in the demos folder: Demos are not built by AppVeyor at all.
Check if the path is at least two characters long before accessing its
second character.

being dragged.
