Vadim Zeitlin 61b71e5999 Replace all CppUnit-compatible macros with CATCH ones
No real changes, just get rid of the last vestiges of CppUnit in
wxListCtrl tests.

Vadim Zeitlin f8f2d6883e Get rid of CppUnit machinery in wxListCtrl unit tests
We still use some macros to avoid having to define the same test cases
for wxListCtrl and wxListView, but the code structure is much more
understandable and explicit now.

No changes in behaviour.

Vadim Zeitlin 4f4c5fcfdf Use nullptr instead of NULL in the code and documentation
This is a combination of running clang-tidy with modernize-use-nullptr
check for some ports (GTK, X11, OSX) and manual changes to the ports for
which it couldn't be used easily (MSW, DFB) and also manually updating
the docs.

Also replace NULL with null or nullptr in the comments as this is more
consistent with the use of nullptr in the code and makes it simpler to
grep for the remaining occurrences of NULL itself.

And also use null in the assert messages.

Only a few occurrences of "NULL" are still left in non-C files, mostly
corresponding to unclear comments or string output which it might not be
safe to change.

Vadim Zeitlin 9547cbc6a4 Extend wxListCtrl::GetColumnCount() tests to all modes
Check that it consistently returns 0 in the wxLC_ICON and
wxLC_SMALL_ICON modes under all platforms.

Vadim Zeitlin 8b1bab9c71 Simplify the code in just added ListCtrlTestCase::ColumnCount()
Don't call tearDown() explicitly, we'll get rid of this function sooner
or later, hopefully, so don't add extra calls to it and just delete the
window directly, nothing else should be needed here.

No real changes.

Vadim Zeitlin 8686ca62e7 Avoid asserts when destroying windows with mouse capture in tests
Destroying a window with mouse capture results in an assert, which is
translated into an exception when running the test suite. As this exception is
thrown from wxWindowBase dtor, it results in an immediate program termination
when using C++11 and can also have the same effect even when using C++98 if
this exception is thrown while already handling another exception due to a
test failure.

Try to avoid this by using a "safe" DeleteTestWindow() function instead of
deleting the window directly. Currently this function ensures that the window
doesn't have mouse capture before deleting it, but it could also be used to
check for other things later. Also, this commit only uses this function for
the two controls which do happen to be destroyed with mouse capture currently
(at least when using wxGTK), but it should probably be generalized to all
controls in the future.

Vadim Zeitlin 3f66f6a5b3 Remove all lines containing cvs/svn "$Id$" keyword.
This keyword is not expanded by Git which means it's not replaced with the
correct revision value in the releases made using git-based scripts and it's
confusing to have lines with unexpanded "$Id$" in the released files. As
expanding them with Git is not that simple (it could be done with git archive
and export-subst attribute) and there are not many benefits in having them in
the first place, just remove all these lines.

If nothing else, this will make an eventual transition to Git simpler.

Closes #14487.

Vadim Zeitlin ce7fe42e84 Provide shorter synonyms for wxEVT_XXX constants.
Use the same short names as are used by the event table macros for the event
type constants themselves. This makes them much more comfortable to use, e.g.
Bind(wxEVT_BUTTON) compared to Bind(wxEVT_COMMAND_BUTTON_CLICKED).

The old long names are still kept for backwards compatibility and shouldn't be
removed as it doesn't really cost anything to continue providing them, but all
new event types should only use the short versions.

Vadim Zeitlin 93f6e00d7b Destroy the in-place edit control in wxGenericListCtrl dtor.
If the in-place text control was still alive when wxGenericListCtrl was
destroyed, it resulted in asserts from wxWindow dtor about child windows still
being alive, so explicitly destroy it from wxListMainWindow dtor.

As this required a slightly different behaviour from wxListTextCtrlWrapper::
EndEdit(), replace its bool argument with an enum one which can take more than
2 values. Not using bool values when calling it also made the code more clear.

Finally, added a unit test verifying that the in-place control is indeed
destroyed correctly.
