Merge fixes from preparation branch 'v3.9'

* fix rotorcraft adaptive vertical control numerical issues
* fix openlog
* mode switching via two 2-way switches instead of one 3-way
* NPS:
 * fix waypoint altitude
 * renamed fdm subsystem type from nps to jsbsim
 * fix ground interaction issues, can now be initialized on the ground
