Benchmark the abstraction overhead of wxString methods compared to plain
functions and also benchmark native functions for string comparison under MSW.

Globally use "wxWindows licence" consistently.

Use "wxWindows licence" and not "wxWidgets licence" (the latter doesn't
exist) and consistently spell "licence" using British spelling.
