Vadim Zeitlin	4d0e5449df	Add support for Wayland XDG session management to wxPersistentTLW ... When Wayland session management protocol is available, use it to save and restore the ID of the session used to save the window geometry by the compositor. This relies on a new, so far private, SetWaylandXDGSessionId() function in wxTopLevelWindow, which can be used to indicate that the TLW should be part of the application session and so its geometry should be saved by the compositor. wxPersistentTLW has been modified to call this function when used on a system with XDG session management protocol support which, in turn, required adding SaveString() and RestoreString() to GeometryStore.	2026-08-06 19:23:27 +02:00

With these changes, wxApp::SetAppearance() and wxApp::MSWEnableDarkMode() can change the dark/light mode at any time. Arthur Chan	ae897594fd	Avoid OOM in wxTarInputStream for very large extended header ... Don't try allocating arbitrarily large amounts of memory for the extended header in wxTarInputStream and impose a very big but still reasonable enough to not result in out of memory condition size for it by default. Allow changing this size via the newly added SetMaxExtendedHeaderSize() function for the applications that want to handle files with even bigger header or, on the contrary, want to avoid allocating even that much. Jorge Moraleda	e069b7f4b9	Add wxGrid::GetFrozenRowLabelWindow() and GetFrozenColLabelWindow() ... These accessors for the frozen row and column label sub-windows were missing from the public API even though the equivalent data cell windows (GetFrozenRowGridWindow/GetFrozenColGridWindow) are already public. The old class used incorrect const qualifiers on its member functions: saving function typically modifies the object being saved into, and so must not be const, while loading function should be const, but the old class reversed this. Stefan Csomor	7148a49c6d	Map wxDF_TEXT to text in UTF-8 encoding in wxOSX ... Don't use legacy encoding for it, this was unexpected and resulted in e.g. wxClipboard::IsSupported(wxDF_TEXT) returning false when there was text on the clipboard and IsSupported(wxDF_UNICODETEXT) returned true.
