Piyush Patle 0dccc8ba21 include/debug.h: Move to include/nuttx/debug.h
debug.h is a NuttX-specific, non-POSIX header. Placing it in the
top-level include/ directory creates naming conflicts with external
projects that define their own debug.h.
This commit moves the canonical header to include/nuttx/debug.h,
following the NuttX convention for non-POSIX/non-standard headers,
and updates all in-tree references.

A backward-compatibility shim is left at include/debug.h that
emits a deprecation #warning and re-includes <nuttx/debug.h>,
allowing out-of-tree code to continue building while migrating.

wangchengdongandGuo Shichao guoshichao@xiaomi.com 0ea686bc5b sched/signal: Add support for partially disabling signals
Signals in NuttX serve two primary purposes:

    1. Synchronization and wake-up:
Signals can be used to block threads on specific signal sets and later
wake them up by delivering the corresponding signals to those threads.

    2. Asynchronous notification:
Signals can also be used to install callback handlers for specific signals, allowing threads to
asynchronously invoke those handlers when the signals are delivered.

This change introduces the ability to partially disable signal functionality: to disable only signal functions for
Asynchronous notification, keeping functions for Synchronization and wake-up.
This enables finer-grained control over signal usage while preserving existing behavior for supported use cases.

wangzhi16 31e562b10f Revert "sched/group: move task group into task_tcb_s to improve performance"
This reverts commit 29e50ffa73.

reason:
Placing the main thread and the gourd in the same memory block, and allocating and freeing memory simultaneously, presents the following two problems:

When the main thread creates a child thread and performs a detach operation, there is a possibility that the main thread may have exited, but the main thread's TCB (Transaction Control Block) may not have been released.

This could potentially cause the main thread's TCB to be double-freed. The core contradiction in this problem lies in binding the main thread's TCB (Trust Container Registry) and the group together. When releasing the main thread's TCB, an additional check is needed to ensure the main thread was the last to leave the group. If this check and the free operation are atomically guaranteed, the logic is sound, and double freeing won't occur. However, this atomicity cannot be completely guaranteed. If other free operations cause a block, problems still arise.

wangchengdong de5973268b [!] sched/event: Remove wait object dependency from event implementation
The current event implementation relies on a dedicated wait object,
    which introduces several issues:
        1. Increases memory usage
        2. Complicates the event logic
        3. Makes the API design less clean, as it requires a separate
                nxevent_tickwait_wait() function

This patch removes the event’s dependency on the wait object
and eliminates the nxevent_tickwait_wait() API accordingly.

BREAKING CHANGE: this commit removed the nxevent_tickwait_wait function
so the related docs should be updated accordingly

Jukka Laitinen 142f32121a sched: Remove pending list for CONFIG_SMP
This fixes several places, where the sched erroneously checks if the scheduling
is locked on current cpu/task, when it should check if the scheduling is locked
on the target cpu/task.

The original code randomly caused a task to be added to the pending list, and never
taken out from there, leading to system halt.

For SMP, there is no need for the pending list. Each CPU has got it's own
running list (assigned tasks list), and pending tasks can just be kept in
the unassigned (readytorun) list.

In addition, the smp scheduling is changed in a way that every CPU just picks
up the tasks from the ready-to-run list themselves. Which task to pick is
not tried to be dictated by another CPU.

This also allows using up_send_smp_sched for asynchronously
- re-prioritizing a running task
- triggering round robin scheduling switch

Iow, no separate smp call mechanism is needed for those and the code can be simplified.

hujun5 19b4911d7f arch: remove up_current_regs in common code
reason:

When entering an exception or interrupt, there are two sets of registers:
one is the "running regs", which we need to save,
and the other is the "ready to running regs", which we may soon use.
For consistency in logic, we can always store the "running regs" in the regs field of g_running_tasks,
otherwise it may lead to errors in the storage location of the "running regs."

When we need to access the "running regs," we should uniformly retrieve them from the regs field of g_running_tasks.

As the next step, we will rename the set_current_regs/up_current_regs functions
for each architecture to more appropriate names, solely for the purpose of identifying interrupts.

hujun5 a567148888 sched: add up_this_task and up_change_task macro stub
reason:
We can utilize percpu storage to hold information about the
current running task. If we intend to implement this feature, we would
need to define two macros that help us manage this percpu information
effectively.

up_this_task: This macro is designed to read the contents of the percpu
register to retrieve information about the current
running task. This allows us to quickly access
task-specific data without having to disable interrupts,
access global variables and obtain the current cpu index.

up_update_task: This macro is responsible for updating the contents of
the percpu register. It is typically called during
initialization or when a context switch occurs to ensure
that the percpu register reflects the information of the
                newly running task.

hujun5 b4cc9fb11b sched: change nxsched_islocked_global to nxsched_islocked_tcb
reason:
1 To improve efficiency, we mimic Linux's behavior where preemption disabling is only applicable to the current CPU and does not affect other CPUs.
2 In the future, we will implement "spinlock+sched_lock", and use it extensively. Under such circumstances, if preemption is still globally disabled, it will seriously impact the scheduling efficiency.
3 We have removed g_cpu_lockset and used irqcount in order to eliminate the dependency of schedlock on critical sections in the future, simplify the logic, and further enhance the performance of sched_lock.
4 We set lockcount to 1 in order to lock scheduling on all CPUs during startup, without the need to provide additional functions to disable scheduling on other CPUs.
5 Cpu1~n must wait for cpu0 to enter the idle state before enabling scheduling because it prevents CPUs1~n from competing with cpu0 for the memory manager mutex, which could cause the cpu0 idle task to enter a wait state and trigger an assert.

hujun5 9de9f8168d sched: change the SMP scheduling policy from synchronous to asynchronous
reason:
Currently, if we need to schedule a task to another CPU, we have to completely halt the other CPU,
manipulate the scheduling linked list, and then resume the operation of that CPU. This process is both time-consuming and unnecessary.

During this process, both the current CPU and the target CPU are inevitably subjected to busyloop.

The improved strategy is to simply send a cross-core interrupt to the target CPU.
The current CPU continues to run while the target CPU responds to the interrupt, eliminating the certainty of a busyloop occurring.

fangxinyong c479ccb8aa sched: move etc romfs mount from nsh to sched/init
Usually the startup script is placed under /etc. The contents of the etc directory
are compiled and linked with Nuttx binary in the form of romfs. After startup,
it will be mounted by Nsh.

etc is generated by the different boards, that use genromfs and xxd tools to generate
and compile it into the Nuttx, for example: boards/arm/at32/at32f437-mini/tool/mkromfs.sh
The more common method is etc image generated from the content in the corresponding
board/arch/board/board/src/etc directory, and added by Makefile for example:
boards/sim/sim/sim/src/etc.

But in kernel/protected mode, Nuttx kernel and apps are run in different privileged/
non-privileged mode or the isolated binarys, so as that nsh should use syscall to
access Nuttx kernel by exported API. In this scenario, nsh can not mount the etc image
content, because that is generated in board and as a part of Nuttx kernel.

changes:

- move etc romfs mount from nsh to Nuttx, but keep the script to parse and execute.
- move and rename the related CONFIG, move customized nsh_romfsimg.h to etc_romfs.c
in boards, and no need declaration for romfs_img/romfs_img_len.

This commit changes and updates all configurations in Nuttx arch/board as much as possible,
but if any missing, please refer to the following simple guide:

- rename CONFIG_NSH_ROMFSETC to CONFIG_ETC_ROMFS, and delete CONFIG_NSH_ARCHROMFS in defconfig
- rename the etc romfs mount configs, for example CONFIG_NSH_FATDEVNO to CONFIG_ETC_FATDEVNO
- move customized nsh_romfsimg.h to etc_romfs.c in board/arch/board/board/src and no need
  declaration for romfs_img/romfs_img_len.
- delete default nsh_romfsimg.h, if ROMFSETC is enabled, should generate and compile etc_romfs.c
  in board/arch/board/board/src.

chao an 42427e9e29 sched/taskfiles: skip unnecessary file open/close operations to improve performance
The task files should consult the "spawn action" and "O_CLOEXEC flags"
to determine further whether the file should be duplicated.

This PR will further optimize file list duplicating to avoid the performance
regression caused by additional file operations.
